Female ADD is no better and no worse than male ADD. The socialization of Females may make it more difficult for a female-s social life. A man-s social life often depends on physical activity, particularly when he is younger. The social of life of women depends more on communication than a man-s does, and women can be just as vicious as their male counterparts. They can also make someone regret saying something that the wrong time or failing to pay attention.

A woman with ADD cannot help the lack of attention she pays to others. It is a difference in the way the brain works. It is also true that a person with ADD may hyper focus on things that interest them. There are ways to overcome this lack of attention, the most common one for people who have been diagnosed with this condition is to take Ritalin. Caffeine can also help, but self-medication is usually not a good thing.

A woman who thinks she might suffer from ADD or ADHD should seek out help from a psychiatrist. It takes more than just medication to overcome the condition. It also takes work to develop the necessary social skills. It will make life easier.

ADD is just as much of a problem in older men and women as it is for children. The symptoms might be a little bit different, but the root of the problem is the same. Older men and women with ADD may not be brimming with some of the symptoms that children will have, but it affects them just as badly as any child. Knowing that you have it and how to fight it is the next step.

Older adults with ADD usually have a lack of focus as the main symptom. Many of the other symptoms branch off that main one due to the feeling of helplessness that sets in after knowing that you’re having an unproductive day. Often, many other disorders can set in due to ADD, like anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, or other learning disorders.

Another symptom common in adults with ADD is called hyperfocus. This takes place when you are reading, watching, or doing something that is of great interest to you. You become so absorbed in what is going on that you lose track of everything. Whether it be time, forgetting to eat, not doing other things that you need to do, or even forgetting to sleep. However, hyperfocus can have its benefits if it focuses you in on something that is productive. That is one of the keys to being successful while being diagnosed with ADD.

ADD can be stopped with the right measures. It may never go away, but if you figure out what you’re good at and learn to love it, it can actually be a blessing. The information doesn-t stop now.

ADD can have horrendous affects on young females from around the world. ADD often goes unnoticed in children because of the way they may act. Young females with ADD may not show any symptoms that are much different from any other normal child, or even boys with ADD. However, if a young female is diagnosed with ADD, it can seriously affect their work and social life.

For a young female going to school, depending on the symptoms she may have, her social life could be very awkward. Those with ADD have a tendency to say things without thinking, which can cause awkwardness among her peers, as well as a tendency to jump from one subject to another, which may tend to drive people away from her. For school work, she may have trouble focusing on her homework and studying. Teachers may not get along with her because of her lack of attentiveness in the class, and overall, she may be feeling overwhelmed due to her mind always racing with thoughts.

With help from her parents, she can beat ADD, but it will take an effort from both sides. Organization is the most important thing for young females with ADD. People with ADD aren’t stupid, it is just hard for them to focus. Present them with many folders, try to make things as organized as possible, and reward them when they keep things organized for a time-frame or when they finish their homework or score well on a test. It goes a long way to how they will do in the long run.

ADD stands for attention deficit disorder. Attention deficit disorder has a great affect on those diagnosed with it. Often times it is first detected in childhood. ADD children have a hard time sitting still and concentrating. It causes children and adults to have a very hard time staying on task and keeping focused on a specific activity. Attention deficit disorder also causes hyperactivity and problems in controlling impulses.
ADD is most commonly related to having a short attention span. Adults and children have a very hard time focusing on their given task and often times wonder far away from the given task. The full explanation can be found at http://www.everydayhealth.com/adhd/specialists/what-about-adhd-without-the-h.aspx ADD causes hyperactivity and at the state of a toddler or child they will appear to always be on the go and always needing to be active. Sitting still is almost impossible. ADD poses a very large problem to school aged children. They can not sit still in their seats and often times have serious behavioral problems at school. They usually talk a lot and distract other students and even the teacher causing many pupils serious distraction during the times they should be focusing and learning. Add children also tend to roam around the classroom and have difficulty remaining quiet.
